I cook a whole box of pancake mix at one time and freeze them so that my kids can get them out when they want them for breakfast. Just pop in the microwave and walah! I am a relatively new mommy--my daughter is 1--and I started a Mommies Group a few months ago. It hasn't been the most successful venture however, I am not giving up yet. The concept was that each month a different member of the group would plan it so that each mommies' interests etc were appreciated. It is up to that particular mommy whether kids were included or just mommy-time. We live in the Lorain/N.Ridgeville/Wellington area (I guess that is basically all of Lorain County). Their office is pretty busy because there aren't many reputable OB/GYN's in Elyria. I have never had a problem getting in to be seen though. The office staff is very friendly there as well. I used the midwives at Women Care Connection in Amherst for my first child and thought the prenatal care was fine, but the bedside manner in labor and delivery was awful! I am not aware of any midwives who deliver babies in Elyria.
